Synopsis
The Garvey sisters are linked by the death of their parents and a promise to always protect each other. Sharon Horgan (Eva) is the sister of former Irish rugby player Shane Horgan. Eve Hewson (Becka) is the daughter of Bono from U2.

Brian Gleeson (Thomas) is the son of actor Brendan Gleeson and brother of actor Domhnall Gleeson. 5,195 (2022). Bad Sisters is brilliantly crafted in every detail, starting with its incredibly good script.
But it is also technically superb, with a fantastic score and cinematography, coupled with really good locations
The ensemble is fantastic, clearly having a lot of fun with their material and providing plenty of laugh-out-loud moments, but is quite capable of the necessary pathos essential to a show of this nature. Bad Sisters is a true black comedy in every sense of the word, but a cute one, with a rich vein of Irish humor bubbling to the surface and keeping us invested in the Sisters’ fortunes. So even if the girls are up to no good, there’s always the question hanging over the surface: “are they really?”, because we identify with their predicament and the judgments they’re making.
So we all end up conflicted: brilliant!
If you’re an overly sensitive male, for example. You don’t like it when the worst traits of male behavior are exposed and punishment ensues, … then you really need to watch this show and desensitize yourself, it will do you good and give you perspective on how everyone else is left behind in the wake of selfish male rudeness.
